Happy Thursday everyone. I don’t know about you but I have been confused with the days all week, I really thought today was Friday! Oh well, another day of wonderful weddings to share with you. Today is the turn of Bridget and Thomas who chose an outdoor ceremony to make the most of the amazing summer we had last year. They filled their day with nods towards their love of the mod culture, as well as lots of vintage decoration. From a bouquet made out of door knobs to lots of DIY details, this wedding is brimming with personality, all captured by Emma May.
The whole day went exactly how we hoped and the weather was fab. Just perfect.
Bridget and Thomas were married on 23rd JUne 2018 at Carbally community Center in Ballymaccaw, Co.Waterford in Ireland. ‘We didn’t want the traditional church wedding and Toms family had a link to the area going back generations.He spent most of his summers there as a child. We had 150 guests and it took 2 years to plan.’Â
How they metÂ
Through family, we have been together for 12 years.
The proposal
Tom proposed to me when we stayed at the Maryborough Hotel Co.Cork. He popped the question in our room with the help of a photo of our two boys that pictured them holding a card saying “will you marry our daddy ”
