Third Wedding Anniversary
Three.
It?s a funny concept, three. Third wheel. Three?s company. And yet?here we are, three years in and I?m still happy and still in love.

When I wrote you last, I talked to you about change—both happy and sad. This year has also been all about change, but this time it?s been the kind that is exciting and a little bit scary.

From year one to year two, not much changed. Since our anniversary last year, however, Sparky has started a new job. It was a hard move but a good one, and he has been much happier since.
I also left my job this year. Not because I didn?t like it or anything—I certainly loved it and my team—but because I?m moving on to other things. In addition to celebrating our third anniversary today, I?m also starting school again. I had orientation yesterday, and today is my first day of classes for my PhD.

Which leads me to another big change—we left Seattle, the city that has been my home for all of my life, and moved across the country to Boston. Our new neighborhood is just outside the city, and we are settling in.
