Tim and Rebecca’s Back Garden Welsh Wedding By Kelly J Photography
Today we are heading off to Wales for this super cute back garden wedding. Tim and Rebecca chose to hold the wedding in their back garden to keep costs low and to add a more personal element to their day. They enlisted friends and family into the wedding planning to help with jobs like decoration and design, along with creating the wedding breakfast and stationery. The wedding was a totally homemade affair which made the day even more memorable and enjoyable. Thanks to Kelly J Photography for the lovely images.
‘Everything I could have wished for and more. The perfect day for us’
Time and Rebecca were married on 20th June 2015. The ceremony was held at Llwynegrin Hall, Mold and the reception in their garden at 3 Pottery Cottages, Ewloe. ‘We wanted a relaxed, family friendly gathering on our own terms! We had roughly 60 at the ceremony, and roughly 60 more at the reception. Planning took approximately a year.’
How they met
Roughly 10 years, and through our mutual love of music.
The Proposal
On the top of Snowdon, with our canine companion Lottie.
How did you allocate your budget
Carefully!
Where did you splurge and where did you save
The structure of the marquee in our garden was probably the biggest expense, but well worth it. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by wonderful creative family and friends, so decoration and food was a group effort!
How did you choose your photographer
Excellent customer service, and beautiful past proje...
