Timeless Royal Inspired Seaside Wedding
The best thing about fairy tales is that they happen all the time – all over the world – one wedding at a time.
The celebrations we’re sharing with you today have got us firmly daydreaming of seaside escapes and dusty pink petals, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Emma and Jazz chose to host their loved ones at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, a former royal residence dating back to the mid-1800s. Its history is just one of the many reasons the bride and groom fell head over heels for it; add to that the breathtaking views of the Solent, the enclosed rose garden, and graceful water features, and it’s easy to see why this London couple chose it as their island getaway frozen in time.
With a venue so full of character, the décor need only be subtle, with natural and rustic florals by The Flower Garden setting the scene for a palette of peaceful off-whites, muted greens, and blushing pinks – the latter echoed by the bride’s swishing gown by Stella York and the former by the bridesmaids’ neutral Vera Wang’s. We adore the intimate outdoor ceremony set against the imposing walls, so sweetly embodied by the sprig of royal-inspired myrtle peeking from the soft curls of the bride’s hair. Day turned to night in the company of a semi naked cake of pink macarons and fresh roses by Frostbite Bakery, a fun-filled photobooth, and tipsy vodka favours – all the ingredients for the party of a lifetime.
