Phuong and Andy’s wedding at Mercury Hall proves that relaxed and glamorous tropical vibes look incredible no matter where your wedding takes place, whether on the beaches of Hawaii or in the heart of Texas! With the help of Yellow Umbrella Events, the couple incorporated elements of their Hawaiian roots into their day with bright tropical flowers, a surfboard guest book, and a fusion of Asian cuisine and Texas BBQ! The bride’s mermaid-style Nicole Schultz gown and gorgeous flower crown created by Gypsy Floral stole the show and gave us some serious summer bridal style goals! Lisa Woods Photography did a masterful job at capturing the magic and beauty of this Austin wedding!

Our planner, Cheryl Bailey of Yellow Umbrella Events, tagged our theme “Tropical Boho Glam” after speaking to us about our vision. We wanted to highlight Hawaii (where we live) and keep the atmosphere classy but still whimsical. My favorite details that helped tie this theme together were the floral design, the huge chandelier and festoon lights hanging from the oak trees, and the gold accents everywhere. It felt like a fairytale!
