Tusk Everlasting: We “Walk Thru” the Reception

Now if you don’t remember, at this point of arriving to the reception, we had already had fun on the party bus, so we were really ready to have some fun at the reception. Mr. W and I are fans of rap music, so we couldn’t picture ourselves walking in to anything other than that. We chose “Walk Thru” by Rich Homie Quan.
Of course the bridal party had some fun entering the reception.
Groomsmen JA is a Nupe, so this is to be expected.
Instead of showing you the photos of Mr. W and me, here’s one of my favorite videos my cousin took of us. It was probably the funnest moment walking into that room full of our friends and family and having everyone up dancing and cheering with us!

As soon as we entered the reception, my pastor from my church blessed the food, and dinner was served right away. I’m happy to report that I did eat and it was sooooo good. That meal felt like heaven.
Immediately following the blessing of the food, we went right into the best-man and maid- of-honor speeches. Both Mr. W and I were emotional during the speeches because, keep in mind, both of our first cousins (our mothers’ sisters’ kids) are our best friends and family. We’ve both known that other person our entire lives, and were both basically raised as siblings.
But on top of that I’ve known Best Man Doobie just as long as I’ve known...
