Uniquely Artistic California Elopement at Noah Purifoy Outdoor Art Museum

Every inch of this Joshua Tree elopement exudes desert hippie chic! Martha and Tony wanted their special day to reflect their bohemian style with out-of-the-ordinary artistic details, and the Noah Purifoy Outdoor Art Museum fit the bill! The couple values spontaneity and living in the moment, so they decided to pick out a lot of the details in the final days leading up to the wedding – the bride even chose her shawl on the day-of! Dada-inspired artwork made of reclaimed materials like old TVs and salvaged metals sets the stage for the couple’s passionate, eclectic elopement ceremony. We love how Martha and Tony chose to keep the ceremony simple and to celebrate with their friends and family at a Mexican restaurant afterward. Valerie Denise Photos captured every effortless, sweet moment along the way! The Couple:

I wanted to feel like a hippie bride and I wanted to give the vibe that we were in a desert. What I loved about my wedding dress was that I purchased it one week before the elopement at Forever 21. The day of the elopement, I went to go buy a lace cardigan from Forever 21 that fit the dress perfectly! I asked everyone to wear whatever they wanted!
My most memorable moment was hearing one of my good friends playing guitar, walking down the aisle, and seeing my fiancé about to become my husband waiting for me.
I love a photo we took during the ceremony lookin...
