This Italian Villa Damecuta elopement features jewel toned florals and details that perfectly reflect Capri’s natural vibrancy! Nicole and Jacob decided to cross off a bucket-list travel destination for their elopement and chose the island of Capri for its history, seclusion, and gorgeous surroundings. The couple tied the knot in a waterfront ceremony, then spent the rest of the day exploring the island’s incredibly romantic scenery with photographer Maison Pestea.

Making it as least stressful as possible was most important to us in planning. We really wanted to be able to focus on our first day of marriage in a serene elopement-style ceremony and have the day to visit the many beautiful locations of Capri and Anacapri.
We wanted a historical location with gardens or nature around us. We also really wanted a sea view. Our wedding planners helped us find just this sort of location.

We wrote our own vows the evening before the ceremony in a book we had purchased on the island.

Our advice: Use a wedding planner! Your wedding day is your first ever day of marriage..don’t spend it stressed! Focus on each other and celebrating the first day as a married couple.
