This Maitland Art Center wedding had vintage details, modern vibes, and personal touches all over! Julie and Thomas knew they wanted to have a spiritual wedding that included all of their family and friends in as many ways as possible, so they recruited their guests to make their desserts and artwork for the venue. Julie rocked an amazing vintage bridal style with her lace Tadashi Shoji gown, handmade gold birdcage veil, and fuzzy stole. We love how Jessica Perez Photography captured this couple’s radiant love for each other as well as some very smooth dance moves!

Don’t view things as hiccups but creative challenges. We collaborated on everything together and figured out how to make things work. So when our venue said no to flower petals, the “balloon squad” was created. And, quite frankly, that is so much cooler then flower petals!
Thomas: For me, the most memorable moment was the anticipation waiting for Julie to come down the aisle.

Once we buckled down to plan our wedding, we did a “visioning” session to pinpoint what was most important to us. Three things really stood out. 1) That our commitment was bigger than just the two of us. It was between Thomas, me, and God. 2) Family! We have wonderful loud, loving and fun families.
