The couple officially said I Do in the midst of the pandemic, with a socially distanced 8-minute city hall ceremony that, as you can imagine, wasn?t exactly what they dreamed of. When it was finally safe to do so, they wanted to celebrate properly?in their own style: an adventurous hot air balloon elopement, with vintage details, high over the hills of Tuscany. The couple?s love of travel inspired them to explore their own region with a hot air balloon tour that included the vow renewal and later a breakfast picnic and couple?s shoot in the Tuscan countryside.

The ceremony was created around the journey of marriage being like the journey of a hot-air balloon: “You know where it begins (where you take off), but you never know exactly where it will take you (where you will land)?. And the fact that, once you?re up there?high into the sky?for as much as you may try, it is the wind that guides you. You have to find a balance between the ups and downs of your ride, while moving together in the same direction, looking towards the same horizon.
