It’s been a while since our last Wednesday Wedding Wonders, what with the Easter holidays and our busy schedule. It’s lovely to be back for a quick catch up and there is a lot to catch up on.
The Easter school holidays brought with it a work trip for my husband G, cue much juggling and a holiday camp for my two boys A and W. Luckily they loved it and seeing as it was so hectic, we both decided to take a much needed family hiatus for the rest of the Easter break. The weather certainly played ball didn’t it" We really made the most of it with our garden projects (removing a large amount of hedge dividing our garden), a couple of lovely days out and a family roast dinner at ours on Easter Sunday. It was really nice to have proper quality time together as the beginning of the year slid by in a blur of work and school. It worked so well that I am attempting to nail down my schedule for the May half term break to make the most of having my boys off school, so that I can spend lots of time with them. Both of them are about to hit major milestones, W is starting reception in September and A is moving up to middle school. So I am super conscious of how precious the time I am spending with them is right now.
