Hello there, I hope you are having a super lovely week so far. It may have been one of my busiest weeks ever last week I think, but productive too. Friday brought my birthday and turning 32 wasn’t too bad at all. I had a pretty normal day, followed by a drink down the pub with my husband G and being spoilt by my boys and family with some lovely gifts and cards. A delivery of gluten free, coeliac friendly donuts was a welcome surprise for my cake. I’ve not had donuts in years, delish. Saturday was spent at the garden centre choosing plants for my new flower beds and a chilled out afternoon with some jobs sorted, followed by an evening with my besties. On Sunday we braved the chill and planted out my hydrangeas, peony plant and sowed the sweet peas, dahlias and sunflowers. I really hope that they are a success! My boys are excited to see the first seedlings sprout. We then headed to my parents for a lovely afternoon of tea, cake and games. Loved it! I was so spoilt. We’re slowly getting back on track with the house renovations. The next bedroom is almost stripped of wallpaper, the banister needs a final lick of paint and the floor laying is all booked in for a couple of weeks time. Then we’ll get the carpenter in before fitting the carpet, hooray! I think next on the agenda is booking a much needed holiday with the boys.
