Well it’s still pretty balmy and you know what I am fully embracing the heat wave this year. I have to say though that our poor lawn is really parched, we’re watering our veggies and flowers, but can’t justify the grass too! It’s also football fever in our house at the moment and I am mixing it up with my nightly Love Island fix. BUT tonight, This Is Us, enough said. If you haven’t watched series one, do it, you won’t regret it, it’s my fave program ever I think. We spent some of the weekend painting our kitchen again, although we managed a bike ride, picnic, trip to a playground and a long country walk. So to be honest it was pretty well lovely. Regarding the kitchen we’re on the home straight now, the cabinets and tiles are painted. We just have the walls to finish, grout pen tidying, worktops to fit and handles to purchase. I’ve also had a potential idea to build a seat for our corner wall to maximise space, but I think more research is required.
