Well wasn’t the weekend a taster of true Spring" I was very pleased to be able to venture into the jungle that is our garden to finally prune my beloved hydrangeas, cut our 150ft lawn (it’s a big job to tackle) and have a good old tidy up of the patio. Maybe we’ll be blessed with some sunshine soon to enjoy the garden in all it’s glory! We also went bowling to celebrate a family birthday, which was much fun and the boys really enjoyed it. I hope to pack in a cinema trip to see Peter Rabbit with them this week too fingers crossed.
The electrician has finished the second fix now and we’re ready for the final bit of plastering before finishing off the decorating and then getting the floor sorted. I can’t wait for our hall, stairs and landing to be finished already. We have a spare bedroom to tackle next, then we’re going to give our kitchen a lick of paint, until we get round to our biggest project, the kitchen make over, which we will work on in a couple of years time. We may get round to renovating the downstairs loo next year, but before then we’ll be tending to the garden and ticking off the snagging list. It really is never ending at the moment.
