It’s a bumper edition this month! But first let’s have a little catch up shall we"
So just what has been going on in my world" To be honest, it’s been quite hectic what with A and W back to school and our routine almost back to pre-COVID normal. Although poor little W had a cold and had to be tested for COVID, thankfully it was negative, but it was an anxious wait and we were in isolation for a few days, which left me climbing the walls. Otherwise I have been trying to keep my self-care as my top priority for a change! My mental health has been taking a battering, so I have decided to put myself first. I have got back into meditation practice each morning with my Calm app, writing in my diary again on a regular basis, joining my virtual pilates class each week, doing lots of walking and ensuring I do my weekly jog. I have also made it my mission to try and eat my 5 a day, I too easily reach for chocolate and crisps, which I’m sure can’t be helping with how I feel. So I am trying to make some healthier swaps. I’ve started to get back into reading, finally! I have made it to about half way though The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern whilst having long soaks in my bath tub. I am enjoying the magic and escapism and have a funny feeling it’s going to really get going soon. I’ll keep you posted! Sponsored Ads
