We’re on count down to a weekend away at Center Parcs and I can’t wait. It’s always such a relaxing and fun break, plus the kids love it. A weekend of no driving, but cycling, walking and swimming is in store. It means I’ll be out of office Friday-Monday, but there will be plenty of goodness for you to feast your eyes and hearts on. With all the renovations, running a business and G’s crazy shift work, it’s going to be lovely to down tools. We’ve been beavering away on A’s room and it’s almost complete, squeal. The mountain feature wall came out brilliantly, then the new column radiator and carpet are to go down, once complete he will move back in. Then I am going to add the final flourishes to both of their rooms, shelving, prints and fun touches. Before embarking upon my office. Woop. I’ve never had a ‘proper’ office per se. I had a corner in our first place, before moving to our next house into the spare room, then W came along and I was banished to the dining room. Moving to our current house I’m in one of the spare rooms, but the plan is for me to take over the attic room, which needs renovating. So I am going to be going all out, with a new desk and accessories, maybe even an updated iMac (it’s been a while). I cannot wait to create a calm and exciting space to work.
