Hooray, Spring has sprung. The bulbs I planted in the Autumn are in full bloom in the sinks in the front garden, my Spring wardrobe is gradually making an appearance and we’ve been in the garden. I am so happy for all the Spring couples tying the knot hoping for a spot of sunshine. I can’t wait to crack out the BBQ and get making crisp healthy salads, whilst possibly ditching the Easter eggs, we’ll see! At the weekend we went to the cinema to watch Peter Rabbit, which was so nice and pretty funny too. The kids loved it. Then we tackled the garden. We decided to rip out some beds filled with shrubs to make way for space for a cutting flower garden for moi. I really cope the nearby conifers don’t scupper my plans and an array of cottage flowers will be gracing the garden in the coming months. There is still so much to get to grips with in the garden though, I think the vegetable patch plans may be on hold. With G changing jobs and the house to finish we’re swiftly running short of time to dig out the beds. Talking of the house, we’re so close now to the next steps, tantalisingly so. But first we’re wondering whether to make a start on the spare room, as we’d hate to ruin the hall and stairs with all the mess.
