We’re on count down until the summer holidays and I must admit I am feeling pretty nervous. Anyone that is a working parent with the summer holidays looming will understand the juggle. Luckily my husband G has booked 3 weeks off, which leaves 3 to arrange childcare and me trying to suss if I can be more flexible with my office hours. I do love a routine, so I can find it tricky to adjust sometimes, but I think I will give it a good go as I really want to make the most of summer days with my little boys. That being said I think they are pretty excited by the thought of 6 weeks off, oh the freedom! So please do bear with me if I am a little slower on the emails and social channels or if you spot our schedule slightly adjusted during the summer break. This weekend our landing carpet went down which was a relief as the old carpet has certainly seen better days and fingers crossed the stair runner will be fitted this week. Our new satin brass handles have arrived to be fitted to the freshly painted kitchen cupboards, next up I need to find a budget sink and tap which also looks totally gorgeous! I am thinking of a white sink and matching brass tap to tie in with the handles. Once we’re near the finish line I promise to share an Instagram story of the before/after shots.
