The past couple of weeks have been busy but lovely. We’ve been organised and have booked our family summer holiday in Devon for July, hooray! Plus we’ve started to think about planning our kitchen extension and renovation. We’ve almost completed the whole of our house now but we left the kitchen/diner/utility/downstairs shower room until last. Quite frankly the biggest undertaking, but we thought it would make sense to tackle this last. It’s a lot to think about and plan for, but I am really excited by the thought of a real heart to our home and having a warm kitchen! This room is freezing and I try to avoid it during the colder months, I am dreaming of underfloor heating already, if budget allows of course. Talking of being cold, I am trying to embrace the chilly weather and not dream too much of Spring right now. So plenty of evenings in with the log burner lit, blankets and cosy knits all round. Not to mention slow cooker dinners, roasts and all those left over treats from Christmas. Yum! Although it’s hard not to think of Spring now that all my bulbs I planted in the Autumn have started to grow, I do miss flowers during the winter season.
Rachel has been to two wonderful events this for Whimsical Wonderland Weddings this week, she headed to the Grace & Thorn ?Ready to Wear? launch at the Town Hall Hotel in London and then she stayed over at Chew...
