It’s my first week back in the office after our summer holiday in Dorset. We had a lovely week exploring the coast, we stayed near Bridport and loved lazing on West Bay beach, fossil hunting at Charmouth, wandering in Lyme Regis, walking up the Golden Cap viewpoint and so much more. Holiday’s aren’t easy for me. As suffering from agoraphobia past and present (less severely recently thankfully), holidays cue stress and anxiety. But I am determined not to let it hold me back completely or my family from exploring and experiencing travel. I did feel quite poorly at times to be honest, and some parts were a struggle, but overall we pretty much ticked everything off of our to visit list and the boys really loved it. I mean they got mummy and daddy all to themselves for a whole week, which is a rarity alone. Plus they had a fleeting visit to Peppa Pig World on the way home, for a magical extra treat. It’s always so nice to be back home and back to normality and the safety of my own routine. However, while away our builders were cracking on with our latest renovation project, which is still continuing now. Something not overly easy for me to cope with, I love routine and hate change.
