How has your week been" We’re back into our routine now that A is back to school, although I must say I am missing having him at home. We had a nice family day last week, a browse round the shops followed by lunch which was just the ticket. G worked over the weekend so the boys and I kept busy, with food shopping, cooking and baking undertaken. My bake this week was some deliciously rich dark chocolate brownies which are rapidly disappearing from the cake tin. The slow cooker has been a god send and I’ve been using it LOADS. I cooked up a beef brisket and used the leftovers to make a ragu, yum. Anyway I’ll be making you hungry, sorry hehe. The point is, I’ve been enjoying the simple things and mooching at home instead of rushing around. It’s nice to slow down sometimes and appreciate those moments. We’ve still not found a house and I am sad to say my running mojo is a little lost at the moment. I hope to pick things up again soon and get back into it. I am going to sign up to a Race For Life so I need to condition myself in preparation hehe. I turn 30 in two months time, so I need to start thinking of a way to celebrate. I’m not one to be centre of attention, but it would be fun to plan a party or do. I may have booked a spa day in with one of my besties though for next month, whoops.
