I just want to take a moment to firstly speak about the horrific attack in Manchester this week. It’s been in my mind constantly since I heard the news on Tuesday morning and I am sure you join me in my feelings of profound sadness. My heart aches for everyone who has been affected. As a mother of two young boys, I cannot even begin to understand how the affected families are feeling right now, my heart, prayers and love go out to them all. Giving us hope though are those incredible heroes, those that have helped others in their hour of need and who are continuing to do so now too. I will be lighting a candle and taking a moment to pause and reflect this week. Love will triumph. Always. This week has been super busy both behind the scenes and personally. We took a weekend break away with the kids which was so lovely, many fun moments and memories were made. A break that we all needed, to have some R&R and quality time together. A’s room is really taking shape, with the woodwork almost complete and the new column radiator now installed. Hopefully the carpet will go down this weekend and he will be moving back in. Talking of the weekend, I am looking forward to a sunny three day weekend with my family. No plans sometimes make for the best of times.
Thank you to everyone that applied to be our new intern writer! I will be reviewing applications this week. You still have time to pop ove...
