And so it was June! I had a lovely week off with my boys for half term and we packed in so much. G had a couple of days off work too and we headed on some exciting excursions with A and W. We visited my brother at uni in Oxford, I have never been and I just loved it. I think the highlight for me was the Bodleian Library and seeing where Harry Potter was filmed. We also had a walk around a local stately home gardens and did a spot of gardening. On the bank holiday Monday we went to Kew Gardens, another first, and it was a really lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Finally before G went back to work, the boys were eager for a bike ride and of course we obliged. It was great to have some fun family time together. We also had our new garage door fitted this month, it’s been a long time in the making, but it has really smartened up the front of the house. We had some lovely family get togethers for birthdays and Father’s Day a couple of weeks back. The weekend just gone, we had A at cub camp and W had a sleepover, so G and I had an extremely rare day and evening together. We popped to Cambridge for a mooch, before having dinner at our fave pub and enjoying the balmy light evening with a walk around our village… perfect! I even managed to get my hair cut last week, I went for a big chop for a real freshen up, which is just what I needed!
