Hello heat wave! I am so happy for those of you getting hitched this week that have been dreaming of sunshine. I’m hopeful of a sunny outdoorsy weekend this week! Especially as we spent most of this weekend painting our kitchen.
We are lucky to have a lovely sized open plan kitchen/diner/utility space but it’s stuck in a bit of a time warp. Think dark wood cabinets, dark green tiles everywhere, dado rails… you get the picture! Whilst we save/plan for our kitchen of dreams in a couple of years time we decided to give it a facelift. We’re going Farrow and Ball Downpipe on the base units, Cornforth White on the high units and white tile paint to cover the dark green pattered tiles. We haven’t thought about the walls just yet but the kitchen is slowly transforming, it’s taking a lot of graft to be honest, but I am excited by the prospect of a cleaner, brighter space to cook and eat. Hopefully we decide to hold off and not tackle any other projects for a while, we’re shattered! This week we’ve been so honoured to share some beautiful real wedding stories, what a delight!
