We’re so tantalisingly close to February and with it brings Valentine’s Day. We don’t really celebrate it as a couple, other than exchanging cards and maybe a gift. But it’s all good fun and I love the season of hearts and flowers, let’s face it, it’s just pretty. In these depths of winter we need to take all of the fun moments we can right" And celebrate with gusto those little things. I am planning on putting together a little gift guide, so stay tuned if you are stumped for ideas this Valentine’s. While on the subject of Winter, have any of you spotted Snow Drops peaking out of the dark soil this week" I have and it’s one of those sights that fills me with hope and happiness. Spring is just around the corner guys.

We still have yet to plan our summer holiday. I had good intentions of getting it booked on New Years Day, but alas, I gave up the search. So that has to be the priority for us this week. My husband has been stripping wallpaper like a trooper and my amazing dad is in today plastering our spare room. We are cracking on and I cannot wait to see the latest renovations all finished in our home. The Farrow and Ball paint chart will be making a reappearance next week fingers crossed.
