It’s been birthday central at our house this week. My boys have turned 8 and 3, so it’s been presents, balloons, cake and parties galore. Not that I’m complaining I am a big kid and love all the celebrations, as do the kids of course. It’s such a cliché I know, but I can’t believe how quickly my babies are growing. I packed W off to his first day at pre school this week too, we’ve never left him apart from with family, so it’s a huge milestone. I really am proud of my kiddos, they are such fun and happy little souls.
In other news, we have been considering getting a pet dog. We are cat owners and our Maine Coon Eva is now 10. I’ve never owned dogs but the boys are slowly convincing me that a pooch would fit in well with our family. We are thinking a lot about it and doing some research, but we are looking for a smaller dog breed, which is family friendly. Any recommendations or tips would be so gratefully received! We also have been putting our house back together slowly but surely and I can barely contain my excitement. All the bits and pieces we have chosen are now being unwrapped and ready to install. G has been painting like a trooper, the tiles are going down and the bathroom will be fitted in the next week or so all being well. Then we can get the carpet down, the electrician will be back and we can move back in. Woop.
