It’s official, I am now on my summer holiday! I will be out of the office in (fingers crossed, but not looking like it according the Met Office) sunny Dorset right about now ( depending on traffic of course), until I am back home on Thursday 17th August. We still have some really beautiful features hitting the blog over the next week, but I am going to try my best to stay away from my email inbox for a proper break with my family. I really appreciate your patience with us until I am back.
Also please do feel free to hit me up with fun things to do in the area – we’re staying near Bridport and I just bought a family National Trust membership to ensure we have loads of places we can go. I hope we can head over to Portland, the spot beneath the lighthouse where we got engaged 10 years ago almost to the day! We haven’t been back since, I wonder if G can get me to the top of the lighthouse this time. Plus of course enjoy the beach at West Bay and maybe even venture to River Cottage. Ekk I am so excited! While we’re away our builder is starting on our latest project. The pink bathroom is officially no more (but it may make a little reappearance in the new one), we have bare walls and the first electrical fix has been done. I really hope they manage to progress well so we miss a lot of the chaos while we’re out of the way. It has been interesting ...
