YES, it’s finally March and the snow has cleared. This means I am totally gearing up for Spring and I can’t wait to pack away my parka and embrace my lighter jackets again. In fact the school run has almost been enjoyable with it not being totally freezing cold. You know what excites me the most though" The thought of all the Spring weddings about to take place with a backdrop of Spring bulbs, sunny skies and lighter evenings. Woohoo.
It’s been a busy old week again for us. We saw friends, went for a family walk, played in the snow with the boys, snuggled by the fire, did some baking and tackled the next jobs on the renovation list. This week we have had two new radiators installed (we’re slowly replacing them all for column style rads), more plastering has been completed and we had our new front door fitted, which I am totally in love with. I promise to share a snap or two on Instagram stories. It looks really authentic, the only issue is the reduced light in the hall way, which we were expecting, so a very light, bright colour scheme is going to be the way forward. We feel so close yet so far from finishing our home, I can’t wait to get focusing on the garden again though in the coming months.
