Whimsical Bright Village Hall Fete Wedding
Who doesn’t love a good old village fete" There is something so comforting about the traditions and local community all coming together. So I think a village fete theme lends itself just perfectly to a wedding, just as today’s couple did too.
Katie and Tim tied the knot on the 28th May 2016 at the village church and also held a baptism for their daughter at the same time. They then headed to Normanton-on Soar Village Hall in Nottinghamshire for their fun and colourful reception. Orange Tree Weddings coordinated their day perfectly, with swags and drapes creating a cosy atmosphere, fun and games outside and quirky props all round.
The blooms were something else and Katie’s bouquet was just so swoon-worthy in burgundy and peach. Hearts for eyes. She chose Maggie Sottero‘s Ettia with its heavy bead work and plunging back. THE PROPOSAL | 21st February 2014. Whilst it was snowing at an Italian Ski Resort. We had gone for a walk in the snow and it was too cold for Tim to get on one knee!
Although it was a surprise, I thought something was a little out of sorts. Tim had been quite stressed on the journey down there. He had planned to propose on route, by Lake Lovere, but the heavy snow, a mix up with the car rental and the rush hour traffic ...
