With a First Look This Cute, You’d Want To Take a Peek Too!

Carly and Cameron’s first look was so exciting that no one could help taking a peek at the action. Luckily, Max and Sam Photography were there to capture the sweet moment, as well as the bridal party stealing a glance from inside the doorway! Carly and Cameron fell in love with the white washed wood of Dairyland in Snohomish, Washington and designed a whimsical, rustic scene around it. What they hadn’t planned for was an August storm, but the rain only made for dramatically beautiful portraits of the couple beneath dark clouds.
The Couple:
Carly and Cameron
The Wedding:
Dairyland, Snohomish, Washington
Our wedding rings were also Cameron‘s grandparents’ rings and have their names engraved on the inside.
We knew we wanted something with a bit of character because it requires so much less decorating. Dairyland was the first venue we looked at and booked it right then. It just had everything we were looking for.
For the processional we had all instrumental versions of modern songs including Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love” and Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.” For the recessional we played Redbone’s “Come and Get Your Love” (my husband’s favorite). Our first dance song was Ray Charles’ “Isn’t It Wonderful.”
The weather was not what we were expecting for an August wedding. It rained an inch throughout the day and the wind was incredibly strong....
