The Proposal
We met at the University of Rhode Island as college freshmen, we were both interested in one another, but didn?t start dating until the end of sophomore year in 2014. Throughout college, Troy was in a fraternity and I was in a sorority. After college, we kept our relationship strong through long distance as Troy went to grad school and I moved to NYC. We saw each other every weekend and went on countless trips like Greece and Mexico. We moved in together to NYC a week before the nationwide pandemic and made it through together. Our engagement happened in Charleston during Christmas December 26th, 2021 with my entire family secretly involved. Every year we have a scavenger hunt around the downtown area.
