Future groom Kevin had planned a beautiful Europe trip with future bride-to-be Lorin and their friends over the summer of 2018, spanning the coast of Italy and ending with a tour through the Greek isles. He had planned to propose in Santorini while they were on a sunset sail with their friends – but, a day before they were set to leave on their trip, the engagement ring got delayed! The trip went on as planned anyway, including the sail in Santorini. It was a great time, but everyone was very confused when the boat docked and there was no proposal.
Once the two got back home and Kevin finally got the ring, he followed up their trip with a quick weekend getaway to Santa Barbara. In the privacy of a small courtyard of their suite at the Four Seasons Biltmore, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The evening that followed included a celebratory dinner at Lucky?s Steakhouse in Montecito and a weekend of piña coladas and champagne toasts at the legendary Coral Casino. And the couple’s wedding was no less extravagant and special!
