[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Color is an important aspect of both Indian and Vietnamese cultures, so we thought very carefully about our color palette and wanted to ensure that our wedding weekend was bright and vibrant (we even asked our guests to dress colorfully and refrain from wearing black). The color red is auspicious in both of our cultures, so it played a central role throughout our wedding weekend – from our save-the-dates and invitations to the bride and groom’s wedding outfits. For our two main events, the sangeet and the wedding ceremony/reception, we leaned heavily on color to create two distinct vibes. For the sangeet, we leaned into a more dramatic and jewel tone color palette which was reflected in all aspects of the design from the furniture rentals to the dance floor to the florals to our outfits.
