An extremely warm welcome to WWW followers Chloe and Thomas, who are very kindly sharing with us their darling The Hackney Co wedding in London. I just LOVE their sweet city nuptials, which were super personal, romantic and filled with fun.
A modern theme was the order of the day, complete with Spring florals, pastel tones and some wonderful DIY touches. There is so much to enjoy about their celebrations, the stylish attire, the confetti moment, the stunning tablescapes and the flower petal cakes to name just a few. Wow!

The Hackney Co Wedding
The Proposal
We were on a trip to the Scottish Highlands just after the first lockdown. We stayed in a cabin on the North West coast near Lochinver. On the 4th November 2020, Tom drove us to a secluded beach on the coast. We hiked along the river, up a gorge and across stepping stones until we reached a waterfall. There was no one around, and I later found out the ring almost slipped out of Tom?s pocket into the river! I turned around on one of the stepping stones and he was down on one (rather wet) knee! It was an easy yes.

The Vision
We were keen on having personal touches. Tom wanted a non-religious Chapel, and I didn?t mind either way. We wanted a venue that felt like ?us?: modern, alternative (we held our reception in a coffee shop after all!), relaxed but special with luxury touches.
