As we come to the end of the month, it’s always lovely to look back on what’s been. I have just returned from North Devon with my boys and I will be blogging all about our getaway on Saturday. I thought it about time I bring back some personal posts to WWW!
Before then though July was all about end of term at school pretty much. Both of my little boys are moving up to the next stage, W is starting reception and A is starting middle school in September. So there was a lot going on, with graduations, productions, assemblies and all the preparations. I don’t think I was quite prepared for how emotional it all would be and it certainly felt like the end of an era for us. Sponsored Ads
We spent a lot of time gardening in July too and I am so pleased with how my flower beds have come along, I re-potted our sinks out front and my prized dahlias are now in full bloom. It was lovely to return to a blooming garden post holiday. We also worked a fair bit on the front section of our lawn which had seen better days and the result is definitely worth it. We have been harvesting a lot of courgettes from our veggie patch too and now our runner beans are growing like mad. It’s the best feeling eating your own homegrown produce, I just love it! I think I may have to convince G to build us some more raised beds.
