We can’t think of anything more perfect for July than a cheerful yellow fête like this “Here Comes The Son” baby shower Kenzie threw for her sister and Details, Darling co-founder Aubrey. Expectant mama Aubrey is a sun-loving gal, so they knew it would be the best way to celebrate her and baby Hudson. Her in-laws’ San Diego abode made the perfect backdrop for the warm, boho vibes A Raw Collection captured.

Love these yellow, coral, and green hues together.

We’ve shared Aubrey and Kenzie’s lovely work a few times before, including Kenzie’s bridal shower, her bachelorette party, and the prettiest modern party with dried florals.

(Little known fact: sisters Aubrey and Kenzie were our 100 Layer Cake interns years ago before they started their own event design company Details, Darling!)
The deets… Folklore provided all of the colorful rentals and Layered Vintage brought the funk with amazing florals. Lunch consisted of cart-side tacos from SD Taco Man, the most delicious fresh churros from El Churrero and mini sunshine themed desserts from Hey There Cupcake. Wildhouse Ink created a sunshine themed backdrop that Aubrey opened gifts in front of and served as the perfect photo-opp for guests. They also created the cutest paper goods like custom “baby boy” stir sticks and “here comes the son” napkins.  Designs by Vicki accented each space with sunshine colored balloon garlands.
